How do I invite someone as a guest to my host computer?

Objective

Inviting another person to remotely connect to your host PC
Note: You must be at your Host PC to invite a guest to connect to it.

Environment

GoToMyPC

Procedure

To invite a guest to your Host PC:

  1. Right click the User-added image system tray icon on the Host PC
  2. Click Invite Guest to PC...
  3. Type in the email address of the guest you want to invite under Enter Your Guest's Email Address:
  4. Add to or customize the message that will be sent to your guest (optional)
  5. In the drop down box select the time when the invitation will expire.
  6. Click Send
  7. Enter your GoToMyPC Email Address and Account Password.
  8. Click Next
  9. Click OK
