Calendar Plugin Error: "We apologize, but an error has occurred.." When Scheduling A Meeting

Issue

When trying to schedule a meeting in Outlook 2010 gets the "We apologize, but an error has occurred. Please try again. For support, please contact Global Customer Support".

Cause

Resolution

  1. Click on the Add-Ins tab at the top of Outlook
  2. Click on GoToMeeting Settings
  3. Click Sign Out
  4. Confirm sign out by clicking Yes, got it!
  5. Click on GoToMeeting Settings again
  6. Click Sign In and log in

OR
  1. Close Outlook
  2. Uninstall GoToMeeting
  3. Re-install GoToMeeting
  4. Open Outlook
  5. Schedule a meeting in Outlook Calendar
  6. Click Add Meeting
